Attention GCCS community. A post that circulated last year is again making its rounds and we have no reason to believe there is any validity to it, and also believe that it does not reference any schools in Cibola county, however, we will err on the side of caution and have a police presence on campuses this week to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Thank you for your continued support.
Laguna-Acoma Jr High Academy parents/guardians. Due to issues with Synergy, Jr High Academy schedules will not be ready this evening. Westill welcome you to come by today from 4 to 6. Pick up school supplies and see the campus. Some teachers and Administration will be here to welcome you. We apologize for the inconvenience but we assure you we are making every attempt for them to be completed by tomorrow.. This set back was beyond our control but we will make it work. Please send your student to school as scheduled tomorrow. The teachers have prepared some activities and lessons to start the school year. GO HAWKS!!!!!
Parents have been requesting schedule pick-up before school starts. The school administration has heard your request, and has decided to change the process. Parents/guardian and students will be allowed to pick up schedules on Wednesday from 4pm to 6pm. Students and parents will be allowed to walk around the campus. Teachers will not be in classrooms. There will be a opportunity to meet teachers at open house on August 31st. Please have parent or guardian come so they can sign medical release papers. We hope that we can continue to work together for a great school year. Parents/guardians, thank you for your feedback and helping us do what is best for our students.
