Seniors this is for the top students in the Class of 2019. Stanford would like to announce their Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies Summer Program. 
The deadline for this event is in February 2019. Stanford is offering programs across a  wide variety of disciplines including Arts, humanities , science and math. If your child is interested  in attending this event during the summer here is a link to the website to learn more about it.

Beacon College  is now accepting applications for their  3  week  summer  immersion experience. It prepares students who have LD/ADHD for the transition into college. Throughout the program your child will develop the basic academic  social and planning skills that they need in order to become a confident, independent, successful college student.

June 2nd-5th 2019 
Workshop Cost: $150 with  scholarships available to those who can't afford to pay. 
The annual New Mexico Press Association Foundation High School  Journalism  Workshop will be held at The University Of  New Mexico (UNM) 
Rising Junior and Seniors from New Mexico high schools are invited to attend. The  workshop will have students spend the three days creating their own newspaper ( both in print and digital formats). In the past, the  workshop focused mainly on the print  product, but this year multimedia stories will be add.

Requirements: 13-17 years of age, Completed application, Two page essay of interest, and two letters of recommendation.
Hand on experience with: agriculture, wildlife biology, natural resources, animal sciences, plant sciences, and veterinary sciences.
